Via ferrata climbing in Slovenia

You can hire a guide with us who will take you along the Slovenian Carinthia to climb the many via ferratas. Via ferratas are special routes found in the mountains. They are placed on steep and exposed parts of mountain paths. Since such parts would be difficult to cross, they are secured with steel cables.

Safety equipment is required for climbing via ferratas. This includes:

• Self-securing set, which is used to attach to the steel cable,

• Safety belt,

• Helmet.

You can borrow equipment for via ferrata climbing from us. It is recommended that you bring hiking shoes.

Via ferratas vary in difficulty. Our qualified guides will show you the proper techniques and guide you along the via ferratas. They can guide you along an easier (B/C) or a more difficult via ferrata (D/E). For the most experienced, there is also the most difficult via ferrata of category F.

Slovenian Carinthia has many routes for mountain bikers that we can take you on. All our guides are properly licensed and if you don't have a bike, you can borrow e-bikes from us.

Looking for bed and breakfast accommodation? Our family hotel is located in the center of the village of Mežica. We have:

• 4 double bedrooms,

• 2 four-bed rooms.

Each room has its own bathroom and toilet. There is a kitchen in the common area, where breakfast is served every morning.

You can use the kitchen to prepare your own meals. We also have a bike shop for all cyclists, where you can service and wash your bike.
